The collaboration of two visionary artists—David a sculptor and Sybil a painter—marked the starting point of the David Yurman brand. In 1980, they reshaped their artistic concepts into a jewelry brand that was characterized by craftsmanship, emotion, and pleasing to the eye all the time. Their Cable design soon became iconic and communicated the brand’s idea that jewelry should be both intimate and artistic. Presently, Evan, their son, is providing them with the new ideas, and the Yurman family is still active in the production of high-end pieces with the real artistic soul intertwined.
